Innovation Education

It is the mission of Emerge Innovation to support China and Asia Pacific in becoming a global innovation powerhouse. Creating and sustaining this mission will ultimately require new leadership skills and capabilities in the region. Any strategy focused on developing that capability must include strong interaction and connecting with the local education system.

 

Our focus is on learning experiences through “Action Learning” programs. While we understand that traditional innovation training programs do play a role in educational activities, Emerge Innovation is not a training firm. Our focus is on designing consultative action learning programs to build sustainable skills and capabilities. We partner with local secondary schools and universities throughout the region to bring Innovation Education programs to students at the right place and the right time. Our innovation education strategy has three key focus areas:

 

1. Partner with Local Governments and Institutions – Bring innovation and entrepreneurship into existing leadership development programs.
2. Train the Teachers – Empower the existing education systems to deliver world class innovation.
3. Leverage the Best Thought Leadership – Partner with the best practitioners and subject matter experts to develop the right content for new leaders in Asia.

 

Our Early Leadership programs have been developed and improved over the years to bring new leadership concepts to a younger audience as they start to develop their own vision and leadership style. These are delivered through modular programs and span the school year, as well as 2 and 4 week intensive programs offered through local schools and universities. Our executive education programs cover topics from Open Innovation and Developing an Innovation Challenge, to Building Innovation Capability and Innovation Scenario Mapping.
